It's Tax Time Bitches!

Whether you're an elephant, a jackass, a teapot or a crackpot it's time to pay your federal and (for most of us) state taxes. The April 15th deadline's coming like the grim reaper and it's time to pay up or pay a penalty. Too bad it doesn't work the same way for your interest free government loan refund. I would have blown that cash faster than Tiger at a bunny ranch so it's probably best Uncle Sam held on to it for a few months.

If you're one of the lucky people stuck in the soon to be extinct middle class you'll be pleased to know that according to this AP article, about 47% of Americans will pay no federal income taxes for 2009. That's right! Either they didn't have enough income or the gov gave these people enough "credits" to eliminate their liability... you know "credits" like friggin' Super Mario Brothers. Now all we need are some green mushrooms to complete our tax system.

So, Mr. and/or Mrs. American Taxpayer, rest easy tonight knowing that your share is covering your Wonder Twin who happens to be a freeloadin' slackass. Pat yourself on the back before you take that shot of vodka.
