This is the kind of stuff that computer nerds dream of... The folks at Engadget have an article where some (I hope highly paid) engineering geeks have combined two technologies with fancy acronyms into what may lead to a potential 5x-50x increase in hard drive density. What does that mean to an average idiot like me? That same "cutting edge" 2tb drive we just picked up could hold 10tb of data in the near future. OMFG! Think of all the episodes of Firefly, Dollhouse and The Sara Connor Chronicles I could record... wait, crap... no, those were all canceled... Lost... crap again... ok, South Park. The same rules would apply. Only buy these drives in pairs. There's nothing worse than losing an entire season of Mythbusters in HD.
