You Can Teach an Old Bug New Tricks

You read it correctly. Scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory have found a way to make bacteria turn "microgears" in solution.
With some help from folks at Northwestern University and several other fancy colleges, they were able to train bacteria to push things around. They say this can pave the way to nanotechnology. I say it's going to cause some killer diarrhea when someone accidentally drinks the high-tech goo. READ LINK.
