Ever since the mechanical switch replaced a person flipping a switch, we've been in a race to shrink switching technology. Next came the vacuum tube then the transistor. Today, some brilliant scientists from smart places have created the first working molecular transistor. It brings us one step closer to having cell phones that fit in your ear. That's all I need, more random things beeping in my ear.
