Climate Change

The topic of climate change is annoying. It's been disproven just as many times as people have come up with new ways to defend it. To me, that's not science, it's conjecture. Although I've said before that many of these 'green' practices should be common sense, they should not be wholesale sold using an unproven concept. That's the equivalent of selling someone sunscreen by telling them it repels the sun's rays which, in turn, make you cooler... and cooler people have a smaller effect on global warming. It doesn't matter. I'm sure the gasses from my Taco Bell fart probably contributed to the demise of some rare Arctic species of killer sea otter moose given their theories.

Most recently, however, some hacked emails from climate scientists emerged showing that some of the data may have been tweaked to prove this so-called global warming. Oh, and there's a matter of the raw data being magically purged when it was called into question. The work of rogue elves? Perhaps, but I don't expect you to take my word for it. Let's see what John Stewart said on the Daily Show (you'll have to jump forward about 2 minutes to get to the part about global warming)...

Update: Looks like those UN folks meeting in Copenhagen think burning cash will help make us be more global unwarmer. Apparently, they believe $10 Trillion dollars makes peace with Mother Earth. Oh, and if nobody has money, we can't drive around our polluting cars... or eat; thus, no gas emissions. Hurray!
