Chicago's Failed Olympics Bid

As you may have heard, despite President Obama, Michelle Obama and Queen Oprah flying to Denmark to coerce the Olympic Committee to select Chicago as the site for the 2016 Olympics it failed miserably. Looks like even though Michelle Obama "stole the show" it didn't matter worth a frick. Too bad they're blaming the bid committee instead of the real representatives. To add to this stupidity, SunTimes ran an article about how the Chicago 2016 group is now going out of business. Really? I couldn't see that coming. Great reporting!

Indiana Governor, Mitch Daniels, couldn't miss an opportunity to rib Obama and his Chicago cronies about the incident by saying, "What is the world coming to when Chicago can't fix an election anymore". Just like David Letterman, everyone's entitled to a good ribbing when it's their turn. What gets me is that he spent hundreds of thousands of our federal dollars to help win a bid for a city within Illinois. I would feel better if he took the cash from Chicago Olympics bid funds his kid's college fund his retirement fund HIS OWN POCKET. Of course, I have to end this rant with a video that's both sad for the people of Chicago and funny because the anchorman can't believe what he heard.
