Catching Up: Installing a Video Projector

What better to do over a fine Labor Day weekend but spend the entire thing inside a church 30feet high in a wobbly one man lift? Crazy, you say? Not me. Thanks to my friends and people from the church, we successfully installed about 13' P5500 of Unistrut, a handful of brackets & hardware, some small sections of SuperStrut, about 18' of allthread, some custom aluminum brackets, heavy duty electrical boxes, 15' 1-1/2" rigid conduit, lots of electrical wiring, custom cable terminations, heavy duty stainless steel cables, and about a million zip ties. All this for a video projector and two ceiling fans. Just looking at the finished product, you'd never know how much work went into it. Regardless, here are a few pics of the fun we had.

Fun but problematic lift. Notice the heavy duty chain that ensured certain doom to my trailer and car should the lift have decided to jump.
