Stupid Friggin' Eagle Eye

Last night I watched the movie Eagle Eye. The blatant disregard for any factual theatrics completely belies the excellent action scenes in this movie. The movie had a great "if Terminator wasn't robots" plot, great car chases and explosions but they needed to spend a little money on some people to check for factual errors. As you can read here, there are a ton but I'd like to speak specifically about two that just drove me nuts.

At one point in the movie, they are asked to drive to 72 West 56th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. About 15 minutes from the destination, they pulled off the interstate to yell at each other. Here's the shot:

The closest interstate with a fly-over ramp is downtown, is about 25 minutes away, and it looks more like this:

They arrive at their destination, 72 West 56th Street. The security camera says "W56th/Van Buren" and it looks like this:
According to Google Live Drive, that address is a liquor store fools! Oh, and by the way, 56th street will never cross Van Buren because both are East-West streets.

I realize this is a movie but, come on folks, is Hoosiers the only movie that can actually be shot in Indianapolis? That said, the movie has great action and acting but a fairly poor plot and was especially crappy with regard to any factual information. I give it a B- but would watch it again for the action.

SPOILER
To wrap this up, if there's anything you should take from this movie, remember that if you design a supercomputer that turns evil, make sure it has a red glowing eye, baby.
