Osama Gets Smoked

According to US press, Osama Bin Laden was killed. Sure, he was the man supposedly responsible for the 9/11 attacks as well as the 2002 attack in Kuta, Bali. There's two things that annoy and sadden me about this. First, yes, the friggin' US was responsible for killing a worldwide figure of evil. It was like Batman crushing his enemy. What is sad is that everyone is celebrating the death of someone. If Billybob the murderer-rapist-animal torturer were to be killed on the street, our laws would tell us it's not right to kill even someone like him. Why then is killing another killer supposed to be a good example for our kids? While I agree that it was a much swifter "trial" than Sadam Hussein, I think it's still poor taste to celebrate the murder of a murderer. We should focus on all the families using this to seek closure for their losses instead.

The second thing that irks me is how all these previously anti-war politicians are all the sudden glad we stuck with the war. I'll give Obama credit for coming right out and telling his constituents he would evaluate the war left by Bush based on things like "intelligence" and "thinking." Any other idiot would have just pulled the plug. Let's take for example Andre Carson who, in 2008, spoke at an anti-war rally. All of the sudden, this r*tard is on board with the war and justifies Osama's death with a statement, "Osama bin Laden’s death is welcome news for our nation and for those who stand with the United States in its efforts to crush al Qaeda and defeat terrorism. I commend President Obama for his leadership..." What the frick, man? I give him bonus points for taking flip-flop to a new level. He's like the giant foam finger of flip-flops. Next thing you know he'll be supporting a Republican deficit reduction plan that includes more incentives for big oil. You know, because they need more money. On the other hand, let's be Obama and cut all the incentives. Where do you think those 'savings' will get passed? I'll give you a hint... Obama doesn't pay for the gas he puts in Air Force 1.

Yep. Politics are stupid. Maybe we can replace Congress with Rock'em Sock'em Robots and let the people take turns beating the hell out of them. At least then we'd be able to explain the poor decisions were a result of idiot puppeteering and major head trauma.
