LifeHacker Blu-Ray Guide
You know, one day I won't cheap out and I'll actually buy a blu-ray drive for my HTPC. On that day the most likely softwareless drive won't play crap when I install it in my PC because Windows 7 doesn't come with software to play blu-ray discs. For those of you playing at home you may remember Microsoft backed hd-dvd over Sony's "inferior" blu-ray product. It was because of this reason (and about a $30/license extra fee) Microsoft didn't add native capability to the OS. Geesh, make it modular! Sell a friggin' "Blu-Ray Pack" for $30. So, long story short, the day this happens I will most likely rip-n-store my BD's using LifeHacker's guide. Hopefully, Google won't have taken over the world by then.
