R/C Car Hell

So, I had a working R/C car with a broken controller and a broken R/C car with a good controller. I thought it would be an easy fix to swap the crystals. Of course, as I soldered the replacement one into the other controller I realized the design was completely different so that ended up being a huge waste of time. You'd think two crappy toys coming from the same Chinese toy company would have similar internals. Not so much. Perhaps, they got their car designs from GM. That would explain why it all fell apart in 3 months.
