Injecting Oxygen
Injectible oxygen? That's usually a bad thing. In this case, a doctor at Boston's Children's Hospital has created injectible oxygen microparticles which would infuse oxygen directly into a patient's bloodstream potentially keeping them alive with a completely blocked trachea for up to 15 minutes. Now, if we could only find a way to get rid of the carbonic acid that will build up when you can't exhale you'd be one rich mutha.
